Project DEEP Builds Pride of Community

Keep The Stride

Congratulations to our Junior Board Member, Mairead Baker, on receiving the Dr. Thomas S. Durant Tutoring Award at Project DEEP’s Student & Volunteer Recognition Night on Monday night.

Dorchester Educational Enrichment Program, better known as Project DEEP, operates through collaborations with the the Boston Centers for Youth & Families, Mayor Martin J. Walsh and charitable institutions like the Martin Richard Foundation.
Project DEEP fosters the educational, athletic and social growth and development of middle school children of all races, creeds and ethnic backgrounds throughout the Dorchester community.
Support such as tutoring, exam prep and private & parochial school placement is offered free of charge.
The Martin Richard Foundation is pleased to support Project DEEP Cares! and the community service component that students must fulfill while enrolled in the program in order to be considered for summer camp scholarships. Students support our military with care package drives and give back to the community with holiday toy drives and volunteer hours with local groups and organizations.
